Everyday Life - Asami Nagi Wants to Finish Her Work
A certain Saturday afternoon.
I had work today that absolutely needed to get done, no way around it.
The remote sales support for Silicon Valley was going smoothly, but we still hadn’t hit the target numbers. I needed to put together materials for a new sales strategy.
Couldn’t finish it during weekday work hours, so I decided to keep going on my laptop at home.
However.
The culprit stealing my focus was sitting right next to me.
Hanamori Chisa — this woman.
On her day off, she’s fully in relaxed mode, wearing a black camisole.
Long, lithe legs peeking out from denim short shorts. The line of her slender shoulders, the sharp curve of her collarbone, and, through the camisole’s neckline, a soft swell of curve—
Hanamori, licking a vanilla popsicle, leans her weight against my shoulder.
Chu, juru, pero. A small, wet sound.
Those little sounds land, unnervingly vivid, in my ears. Nothing scandalous about the sound itself, and yet it registers as obscene anyway.
No, focus. I need to finish this. Okay.
I steel myself, pressing harder into the keyboard.
Hanamori glances at me sideways, sighs, and mutters.
“Asami-san, you really do love work, huh.”
“Not really. Deadline’s Monday, and I won’t make it at this rate.”
“Hmm.”
“Sorry about today, don’t get in the way, okay?”
I say it without taking my eyes off the screen.
Right, today I need to focus on work.
And yet.
I can feel a heated gaze on me. Intensely.
I glance over despite myself.
Hanamori, still leaning her full weight against me, is staring, unblinking. Like she’s trying to bore a hole through me.
Glossy eyes, like a puppy. Her lips, wet and pink from the popsicle, glistening sensually.
Ngh… cute. Too cute.
No, no, focus, focus. I clear my throat lightly and force my eyes back to the computer.
Hanamori gets up to throw away the popsicle stick.
Phew, saved. Just having her leaning against me like that was already turning my head blank.
That relief lasted all of a second.
“There we go.”
She says that and lies down. On my lap.
Full lap-pillow position. Looking up at me from below with those upturned eyes.
Then, rolling onto her side, she wraps both arms tight around my waist.
“Hanamori-san, hey, that’s not allowed.”
My voice is visibly shaking.
“It’s calming, on your lap, Asami-san.”
“Ah, is it. Good for you.”
“Just the right firmness. Nice and soft.”
“That doesn’t sound like a compliment at all.”
“It is, technically.”
Hanamori rubs her cheek against my thigh, gazing up at me with melting eyes.
“Asami-san, your face is grinning.”
“It’s not grinning. I said don’t get in the way.”
“I’m not getting in the way. Come on, focus.”
Hanamori’s fingertips trace, barely touching, along my thigh.
From my knee, along my inner thigh, up toward the base of my leg. Over and over.
Her pale hand, her slender fingers moving with unbearable smoothness, sensually.
Honestly, it sends chills through me, hard.
“…! Hey… come on. …Let me work.”
Even as I say it, my face is unmistakably slack. Looking up at me from below like that, she’s cute enough that my heart could burst.
For a while, Hanamori just lay there on my lap, scrolling her phone.
The sound of my keyboard clacking echoes through the room.
*
Then, after a while, Hanamori gets up, and this time circles around behind me.
She wraps both arms around my shoulders, hugging me tight.
Her breath falls against my neck. The soft press of her chest against my back.
And then — she nips my ear, lightly.
“Ahn…”
A strange sound slips out of my throat, catching me off guard. Embarrassing.
“Fufu,” Hanamori laughs by my ear. Sweet, mischievous.
“Hey.”
“Come on, stop making weird noises and get back to work?”
“I can’t focus like this.”
“Why not? Feeling like kissing now?”
Whispered right in my ear, in a sweet voice laced with heat.
A shiver runs up my spine. No, honestly, I’m well past the point of just kissing. No, no, stop, I need to finish this work. Tomorrow’s already booked with other plans.
“That’s not allowed.”
“Could it be you’re forcing yourself to hold back?”
“Huh? N-no, I’m not. I need to finish these materials today.”
“Just once? A kiss?”
“I said no.”
Hanamori brings her lips even closer to my ear. And whispers, melting.
“…Hey. I’m already… at my limit.”
A shiver runs through my whole body.
Her clingy, pleading voice, mixed with breath, stimulates deep inside my ear.
There’s no way I could resist this. This woman really is calculating beyond all reason.
I turn to face Hanamori, her face resting on my shoulder, and press my lips to hers.
A slightly longer, gentle kiss.
Our lips part softly.
Hanamori’s cheeks are flushed, burning red.
Just being looked at with those melting eyes makes my heart pound loud enough to be a nuisance.
“…More.”
Point-blank range. Nowhere to run.
“So… I said, no more. Later—”
“Stingy.”
The way she says it. Her breath spreads inside my ear.
Sulky-sounding, but deliberate.
—No good. Way too cute.
The gap with her usual cold treatment is out here trying to kill someone.
I can feel my reason crumbling, loudly, all at once.
If I start kissing her again, there’s no sign of it ending.
Lips touching, parting, touching again. What should be a light kiss keeps deepening, before I know it.
I pull Hanamori close and push her down onto the sofa.
Our eyes lock. Hanamori, cheeks flushed, eyes narrowed and melting, laughs softly. That expression is unbearably bewitching, stimulating what’s left of my reason.
Lips meeting, again and again. Holding each other tight.
Our tongues touch, heat mixing together, slick. Hanamori’s lips pull at mine, her tongue tangling, not letting go. And that, too, is dear to me.
Along with a wet sound, kuchu, kuchu, the kiss deepens further and further. Our breathing grows ragged.
Heat gathers slowly, deep in my body.
There’s no way a kiss alone is going to be enough.
Time melts away like honey.
In the end—
I only noticed the light through the curtains had turned orange after everything was over.
“…Eh? Wait. It’s already evening?”
“Ah, it really is.”
Completely worn out.
Work? Hadn’t progressed a single millimeter. Catastrophic.
It’s over…
Today’s an all-nighter.
All of it. All of it, Hanamori Chisa’s fault.
A felony committed in the name of calculated cuteness.
And yet, a strangely fulfilled feeling.
A Saturday evening, full to the brim with happiness.
